BoxOff Peg Edition

BoxOff is a solo game of finding rectangles with two opposing corners defined by two same-colored pegs. Once such a rectangle is identified, and if there are no other pegs within the rectangle or on its edges, these two pegs can be removed. Sounds easy? Think again.

Since the invention of BoxOff in 2013, the game has been featured in Games Magazine, Games World of Puzzles, Abstract Games Magazine, and presented at an artificial intelligence conference. Reviewers have called it “more of a game than a puzzle” and “destined to be a classic.”

This larger peg version features a 5.5-inch square, solid-wood board, and 64 colored cribbage pegs (16 each of 4 colors) to hold the firmly pieces in place during play or travel. Made in the USA for players age 12+. Average game time is 20 minutes.
