Fox & Geese
Fox & Geese
Fox & Geese has been a popular 2-player game dating back in some form to the 12th century. Throughout the years it has been favored by European Royalty, and most recently Queen Victoria put the game on many shelves 150 years ago. The game is a predator and prey game in which one player is a Fox trying to eat the Geese, and the Geese (up to 15 of them) are trying to trap the Fox. There are variations and different thematic versions, but the basic game is still commercially published today, usually as a marble game and often as an optional use of a solitaire puzzle game.
