Agon is a classic 2-player strategy game with hexagonal board. Players pursue a positional goal with precise movement rules. Pieces taken by custodial capture are returned to the game, not eliminated.
Invented in England by William Peacock, a wealthy aristocrat who never sought to capitalize on his invention, Agon wasn’t commercially produced until around 1873. Made in the USA for 2-4 players age 8+.
