BoxOff Deluxe

BoxOff is a solo puzzle game of finding rectangles with two opposing corners defined by two same-colored gems. Once such a rectangle is identified, and if there are no other gems within the rectangle or on its edges, these two gems can be removed. The goal? Remove every gem from the board. Sound easy? Think again.

Since the invention of BoxOff in 2013, the game has been featured in Games Magazine, Games World of Puzzles, Abstract Games Magazine, and presented at an artificial intelligence conference. Reviewers have called it "more of a game than a puzzle" and "destined to be a classic." Winner of a 2025 Gold Meeple Award from Jared Colon of Board Game Apprentice (see review video below).

This deluxe version features a 7x8.5-inch maple wood board, and 64 colored gems (16 each of 4 colors). Made in the USA for age 12+. Average game time is 20 minutes.
