Congo is a clever area control game originally published in France in 1901 by Watillaux, the theme of 19th c. Colonial Africa. It’s an unusual example of a 2-4 player strategy game, each placing their pieces in contiguous groups one piece at a time. Four rounds are played in which points are awarded for certain conditions, the player with the highest score is the winner. Made in the USA for 2-4 players age 8+.
