Congo is a clever area control game originally published in France in 1901 by Watillaux with the theme of 19th century Colonial Africa. It’s an unusual example of a 2-4 player strategy game, each placing their pieces in contiguous groups one piece at a time. Four rounds are played in which points are awarded based on the unplayed pegs of all three opponents. The player with the highest score is the winner. Made in the USA for 2-4 players age 8+.
