Desperate Rescue

Desperate Rescue is an abstract strategy peg game by David McCord. Similar to Norse tafl games, the players have asymmetrical forces and different goals. One player is attempting to rescue a prisoner from the other whose prison guards are out to thwart their efforts. The circular board adds a further twist to the game play as the rescuers attempt to open a path to escape for the unfortunate inmate of the castle keep. The guards, however, need to ensure that this doesn't happen. Made in USA for 2 players age 8+.
