Hepta

Created by Alexander Randolph in 1970, Hepta has been published in several countries under several names. It’s a two-player tile-placement game with several rule variations to provide many different challenges.

Fitting one’s tiles on the board is the basic goal, but there are restrictions based on the colored spaces, or based on the player’s own choices. “Hepta” is Greek for “seven,” and the game has 7 colors on a 7x7 board, each player has 7 tiles to play, plus there are 7 blocking tiles. A solo puzzle variant is included. Made in USA for 1 or 2 players ages 8+. For additional play variation, here's a link to download a printable monochrome board.
