Megiddo
Megiddo is back! This award-winning abstract strategy board game was praised by legendary game designer Sid Sackson (as well as chess champions and mathematicians around the world). Created in the 1980s by Steve Baldwin, this popular game has been out-of-print, until now.
The basic challenge is to create rows of six gems on the unique circular game board, or to capture a number of your opponent's pieces. Sounds simple enough, but the challenges and choices have consequences far beyond the obvious. The 36 points on the board contain so much depth of strategy. Contains a durable game board, 108 colored gems in drawstring pouches, and a 20-page rule book.
"The game's unique appeal is attributed to its innovative circular game board and its novel use of spiral geometry in play. The effect is a 3-dimensional game on a 2-dimensional surface." ~ Rollie Tesh.
Made in the USA for 2 or 3 players, ages 8+. SMALL PARTS WARNING: Contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard for children under age 3.
