Petteia

Petteia is a two-player war game, with each side equal in both forces and objectives, One of the earliest examples of move-and-capture games, his ancient Greek board game is thought to be the inspiration for the Roman game Latrunculi, presumably predating the latter by several centuries. Ancient game boards thought to be for Petteia are found in different sizes, but equally playable. The 8x8 is most common. Made in the USA for 2 players age 8+.
