Polytaire

Piet Hein’s Polytaire was first published by Skjode in 1966. Several other versions followed, but the game has been out of print for decades. The game, like most of his creations, is simple and elegant, and hides a strategic depth that is not immediately evident.

The game can be worked as a solo puzzle, reminiscent of the traditional French Peg Solitaire. But it’s the two-player challenge that is most intriguing, with over 1400 possible configurations to start the game.

The game includes the wood peg board, 18 white pegs, 18 black pegs, and one red peg. . Made in USA for 1 or 2 players age 6+.
