The game of Ringo was invented by Friedrich Keissl, an officer in the Austrian Navy. It’s similar to other games of the late 1800s, but with some unique aspects. It is basically a 2-player predator vs. prey game with jump captures, but the geometry of the board adds interesting challenges, particularly in the shaded “neutral zone” where all pieces are safe. Ringo has been published in several forms and some rule sets differ. Made in the USA for 2 players age 8+.
