Halatafl

Early references for Halatafl are extremely vague. Much of its current form and rules are pure speculation. In fact, there are two entirely different games called Halatafl and played on this board. Both games are for 2 players. One is a balanced elimination game similar to Alquerques, the other is more like traditional Tafl games. Both employ custodial capture and utilize the diagonal paths on the board for “express moves.” Made in the USA for 2 players age 8+.
