Man in the Moon
Man in the Moon
Man in the Moon is an interesting game from around the year 1900. It was published by the McLoughlin Brothers company as a new game, but it's really an adaptation of a couple of very ancient African board games. As with so many 2-player strategy games, Man in the Moon begins with a placement phase followed by a movement phase. The capturing method is what's called a "custodial" or "flanking" capture in which a piece is surrounded on two side to capture it. The adaptation works very well and is fun for gamers of all ages. The loser, according to the original rules, is called "The Man in the Moon." Made in USA
