Spectra

Spectra is a small format game using logic similar to the game of Nim. Placing cubes on the board, players hope to end each round with a majority of cubes on as many spaces as possible, thus scoring points. But the order of play and distribution of cubes can have millions of potential combinations. It’s a bit of a brain-teaser, but easy enough so that players will have fun working out a strategy. The small format makes Spectra a good choice to take on vacation or family outings! Spectra is a game of careful placement of colorful cubes in an attempt to start your turn with a majority of cubes on any of the colorful spectrum of spaces on the board. No dice, no cards, no moves ... just logic and foresight. A colorful challenge for your puzzle-working mind. Average game time is 20 minutes. Made in USA for 2-4 players ages 8+.
